We wish everyone in our school community a safe and Happy Easter.
We had great fun in the run up to Easter in Castledockrell National School; Easter Egg Hunts, Easter Art, Easter songs and poems, and even a little bit of planting! We wish everyone in our school community a safe and Happy Easter.

Bhí craic iontach againn i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge i Scoil Náisiúnta Caisleán Dochraill. Féach ar ár bparáid bheag, céilí agus seisiún ceoil. Asitear in the junior room has been based on the theme of farming for the past week as we have been reading the book Farmer Duck. As part of the Incredible Edible programme, the children in the junior room are having great fun growing some vegetables. They are growing cress, carrots and peas.
World Book Day was celebrated in style here in Castledockrell National School. Everybody at home and in school enjoyed lots of fun and games to mark the day. We all dressed up as characters from our favourite books; can you guess what book we are from? Where's Wally, Treasure hunts, Book Day art, Scavenger hunts, a Quiz and of course lots of stories and treats made for a fun filled day. Well done everyone!😊 We look forward to celebrating 'World Book Day' tomorrow, 4th of March. We will have some fun activities for home and school. Don't forget to send in your 'Extreme Reading Challenge' photos. We are absolutely thrilled to open the doors and welcome back our junior room pupils (junior infants-2nd class). We missed you all😊💕
Senior room pupils we cannot wait to see you guys in two weeks time; in the meantime keep up the great work at home. |
