A total of €630.00 was raised as part of the Croagh Patrick mountain climb that took place during the summer holidays. Croagh Patrick (nicknamed the Reek) is 764 metres high and an important site of pilgrimage in County Mayo. We would like to thank everyone involved and all who gave sponsorship! This week the children in the junior room have been reading the Gruffalo and enjoying lots of Gruffalo activities including, singing, drama, some amazing art and they even picked some apples from the apple trees growing in the school garden and made a Gruffalo Crumble! Children from First to Sixth class have resumed swimming lessons in the Waterfront Swimming Pool in Enniscorthy, for a new term. Great to see such progress being made in all the classes.
A huge welcome and well done to our four new junior infants, who are settling into school so well and working so hard.
Congratulations to Leah, our first Student of the Week of the new school year. Well done and keep up the great work.
