A great day was had by all at our annual 'Halloween Party Day'. Teachers and pupils all transformed themselves into strange and spooky creatures for the day. We had a Halloween hike, mummy art, a fashion show, a concert and lots of fun and games. We look forward to our Halloween party tomorrow. Pupils and staff alike will be transformed into strange and spooky creatures. There will be a Halloween hike, fashion show, concert, party games, art activities and lots of fun! We are all looking forward to 'Freaky Friday' when everyone in Castledockrell National School will transform into weird and wonderful creatures for our Halloween fancy dress and hike. We also look forward to seeing all of the entries for our Halloween digital competition-jokes, poems, songs, dances or stories the choice is yours. Have fun creating! Have you got Maths Eyes?
The pupils of Castledockrell National School are using their 'Maths Eyes' to find math in the world around them. As part of 'Maths Week Ireland' pupils can take a photograph, ask a math question and send it into the school to be entered into our competition. We had a great morning at our INSPA photography session. A big thank you to INSPA and their photographers. Congratulations again to the winning student, Ava Byrne.
