In line with the government announcement on Tuesday, 29th of June, all Communions and Confirmations are to be postponed until further notice. We are truly sorry for the disappointment that this will cause for our pupils in second and fifth class. Unfortunately the decision to postpone is out of our control. Apologies to all families affected. Kind regards, Ms. Ryan

A great day was had by all on our annual school tour. The sun was shining in Wells House and the day was jammed full of outdoor and adventure activities. The animal handling experience was great; we all got up close and personal with tortoises, ferrets, raccoons, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, meerkats, pigs and a peacock! We all enjoyed the fairy walk through the woods and had great fun doing our orienteering challenge. A picnic and fun in the playground topped off a wonderful day. We had our Active Week in school this week, 14th-18th June, the highlight of which was Sports Day on Thursday. The children took part in a whole range of activities including: uni-hoc, tag rugby, rounders, obstacle course, relay races, novelty races etc. We also had a bouncy castle and a water fight to end the day. The sun was shining and it was a jam packed day full of fun for everyone. Winners were presented with medals. A huge thank you to everyone in the school community who supported our recent clothing collection. We raised over €500 for the school; €50 will also be sent to the LauraLynn Children's Hospice in our name and all of the donated clothing etc. will be reused in Africa/Eastern Europe. We were blown away by the response to this fundraiser. A special word of thanks to Joe Doyle for providing the horsebox! And to our hard working PA. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir. |
