The recent NCBI clothing collection was a great success with 60 bags being collected. Thank you again for your support. We will hold another collection in January.
We look forward to welcoming Sharon Hayden from the National Parents Council of Ireland tonight. Refreshments will be served from 7.15 pm for a 7.30 pm start. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Wednesday morning next, the 13th of September we will launch our WOW(Walk on Wednesday) days. The children are encouraged to walk to school on Wednesdays, or to walk part of the way to the school. On Wednesday morning next, children, parents, teachers and staff will assemble in the church car park and walk together to the school.
To mark our first WOW day of the year, we are also going to raise our Active Flag on the morning. The Active Flag has been a central goal of the school over the past year and we were delighted in June to hear that we had been successful. Local G.A.A. celebrity, J.J. Doyle will raise the flag for us on the morning and this will be followed by refreshments in the school. We invite all parents and members of the community to join us on the morning for this celebration. The children from first class to sixth class started swimming this week in the Waterfront swimming pool, Enniscorthy. We will be swimming every Thursday afternoon for the next eight weeks. We look forward to seeing great progress over the weeks ahead.
